Languages Other Than English (LOTE)

All students attend weekly Mandarin lessons. Whole school celebrations of Chinese traditional Festivals, such as Chinese New Year, Dragon Boat Festival and the Autumn Moon Festival enhance their cultural understanding.  Students learn the basics of the language and participate in games and activities to support their learning.  Activities have included cooking, paper carving, fashion parades, and Chinese dancing.
