Library

The new fully refurbished Parkmore Primary school library was opened in 2003. Children attend library class once a week, and the library is also open before and after school every day to encourage children to swap books as often as they need. The library is open during lunchtime twice a week as well, and activities are often run by the children, with the assistance of the librarian.

  

Our dedicated librarian encourages the children’s interest in and love of books with competitions, new book displays, activities and rewards, and involves the whole school in the annual Book Week.Children may borrow up to four books for two weeks at any one time, depending on their year level. Please ensure your child has a library bag when borrowing and that all library books are returned by the due date. We encourage you to visit the library with your child.
