Mathematics
The Mathematics programme provides meaningful experiences which enable children to acquire mathematical skills and knowledge in the areas of number, space, measurement, chance & data, and structure. All year levels have an hour of Mathematics in the classroom each day.
Our approach to teaching and learning mathematics includes students 'learing by doing' and manipulating materials. We cater for individual differences by providing open-ended tasks.
Students are monitored closely to ensure those at risk are identified early and are provided with individual or small group programmes to build skills in Numeracy.
