Parkmore Primary School uses the Berry Street Educational Model (BSEM) Strategies in our daily practice.
BSEM is an education initiative based on proven positive education, trauma-informed and wellbeing practices that enable students’ academic and personal growth.
Our school-wide approach is to strengthen and build consistency and predictability across all classrooms throughout the school. Students are met with unconditional positive regard in
every classroom.
When considering how best to meet the needs of our students, we focus on building self- regulatory ability and relational capacity.
We then nurture wellbeing and willingness to engage in learning.
More information on the Berry Street Education Model can be found here.
Leadership at Parkmore Primary is an opportunity for our students to excel in all areas at school and within the community. Please visit our Leadership page for information about our Student Representative Council.
Parkmore offers a variety of Clubs throughout the week to assist with student engagement. There are many benefits to lunchtime clubs in that students can try new activities, develop their social and emotional skills, meet other students. Results have shown extra curricular activities lead to academic achievement.

We work alongside Kids Coach to offer students a one-on-one mentoring and relationship building program that aims to strengthen students emotionally, socially and educationally. We see wonderful results from mentors who offer their help and support. For more information and testimonials, please visit the Kids Coach website. Places are limited.
We are excited for our Preps and Grade Ones who have met their Buddies for 2025! The Buddies program is an opportunity for Grade Five and Six students to help Prep and Grade ones settle in for the year, to offer support, and spend some time undertaking different activities together throughout the year!
